What this is

hundredusers is a launch tracker and a visitor counter for founders. This page says what it keeps about you, and what its counter keeps about visitors to sites that use it.

Your account

You sign in with Google. We keep the Google account id, your email, your name and your picture, so that your projects are yours when you come back. We do not post anything on your behalf and cannot access your Google account beyond that sign-in.

Your projects hold what you type: a product name and address, a one-liner, your launch list and notes.

Visitors to sites that use the counter

The snippet a founder puts on their site sends us: the page path, the source named on the link (a ?ref= value or the referring site’s domain), whether the event is a page view or a sign-up, and a visitor id. The visitor id is a one-way hash of the IP address, browser identification, the date and a secret, computed on arrival. The IP address is not stored. The id changes every day, so a person cannot be followed from one day to the next, and it cannot be turned back into an IP address. No cookies are set and nothing is stored in the visitor’s browser.

Page views are deleted after 90 days. Sign-up events are kept, because they are the user count.

If you are a visitor to a site that uses the counter and have a question, contact the site; they own that data and can delete their project, which removes every event with it.

The public page

A founder can make a project’s progress public. That page shows aggregate numbers only: user count, launches, visitors and sign-ups per source and per day. Nothing about an individual visitor is on it.

This site

hundredusers.com counts its own visitors with the same snippet, under the same rules. The waitlist keeps an email address and the source you arrived from, used only to send the emails it promises.

Deleting your data

Delete a project from its Settings tab, and everything under it goes with it. To delete your account, email hello@hundredusers.com from the address you signed in with.
